This year’s Fund-A-Need will improve the daily experience of students and staff with a major upgrade to Amundsen’s shared technology.

First, we will transform Amundsen’s cafeteria from a lunchroom into a multi-purpose space with state of the art projection and sound systems. The ever-growing popularity of our school demands more functional space for students and staff, and this Fund-A-Need will ensure an updated site for student gatherings, teacher workshops, and presentations to proud parents. How’s that for more than just lunch!

After the cafeteria overhaul, we will replace the video display monitors in the hallways. Amundsen relies on this technology to broadcast school news and showcase student achievements and activities, but the current screens are outdated and malfunctioning. New monitors will have an immediate impact on Amundsen’s culture, collaboration, and connectedness.
